The History of Tsukubagakuen Church
Tsukubagakuen Church belongs to "The United Church of Christ in Japan", which was formed by churches with various Protestant traditions.
The history of Tsukubagakuen Church began in 1977 when Hijirigaoka Church in Shibuya chose Tsukuba City for a pioneering mission and aimed to build a church here.
The dedication ceremony was held in 1978 with the attendance of 40 people. The first pastor was the late Rev. INAGAKI MORITO. The building was renovated in the fifth year of its founding, and it has become the current church.
